DCDT Accreditation
DCDT conducts a nationally recognized process for the accreditation of post-secondary programs which train professionals in the field of career development and transition. The DCDT Accreditation program is built upon the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC)/DCDT Teacher and Specialist Standards specifically for professionals in the field of transition. Graduates of DCDT Accredited programs are eligible for DCDT individual Certification which represents the highest standard for teachers/transition specialists who provide the education and transition services for students with disabilities.
